Suspect Arrested Over Melbourne House Fire That Killed 3 people

A 46 year old woman has been brought into custody in relation to the Point Cook house fire that killed a young family of 3 yesterday morning.

The suspect was arrested by Arson and Explosives Squad detectives in Airport West this morning and remains in police custody.

The three victims, 19-year-old Abbey Forrest, 28-year-old Indi, and their three-week-old baby girl, were found dead inside their townhouse apartment in the wake of the house fire that engulfed the property.

Police have said that they are not currently investigating any other suspects at this time.
