Scott Morrison Demands Apology From China In Response To Fake Image Of Australian Soldier

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has demanded an apology from China in response to an inflammatory image posted by the deputy director of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Information Department, Lijian Zhao.

“The Chinese government should be totally ashamed of this post. It diminishes them in the world’s eyes,” he says

“It is an absolutely outrageous and disgusting slur. Australia is seeking an apology from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and we are seeking it be removed from Twitter.”

This incident is yet another blow to the rapidly deteriorating relationship between Australia and China
