Penguin Random House Criticised For Publishing Jordan Peterson’s New Book

Several employees at Penguin Random House Canada have expressed their dismay in the company’s decision to publish Jordan Peterson’s new book – Beyond Order: 12 More Rules for Life.

“He is an icon of hate speech and transphobia and the fact that he’s an icon of white supremacy, regardless of the content of his book, I’m not proud to work for a company that publishes him,” a Penguin employee told VICE World News.

Penguin Random House Canada held a highly emotional town hall meeting on Monday, wherein employees aired their grievances, while executives defended the decision to publish.

“We remain committed to publishing a range of voices and viewpoints” said Penguin Random House Canada in an email statement regarding the recent decision.
